On 6th December 2018, a workshop was organized with a team from Al-QIFFAF company. The aim of the workshop was to present the new generation of equipment, their uses, and specifications. Staff from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Science attained the workshop.

An orientation program was organized by the Pharmacy department aimed to welcome first-grade students, in which the head of the pharmacy department gave a speech aimed to encourage the newly joined students to study and work hard to be a clever pharmacist.

In a sense, we have always known about aspirin. The bark of the willow tree contains an aspirin-like compound and has recorded to have been used as far back as the ancient Egyptians and the Greeks. The early years of the pharmaceutical industry were uneasy and the industry as we know it today did not formally exist. The art of medicine for thousands of years was focused on botanicals and the use of herbs which were distributed from local apothecaries.
