In a sense, we have always known about aspirin. The bark of the willow tree contains an aspirin-like compound and has recorded to have been used as far back as the ancient Egyptians and the Greeks. The early years of the pharmaceutical industry were uneasy and the industry as we know it today did not formally exist. The art of medicine for thousands of years was focused on botanicals and the use of herbs which were distributed from local apothecaries. On the 7th of October, a lunch was prepared by the pharmacy and medical analysis department aimed to welcome the new staffs who joined Tishk International university this year.

On the  last day of exams, first stage pharmacy students arranged an Iftar in order to enjoy finishing exams. The head of pharmacy department , and many staffs where invited to eat Iftar with students.
