Seminar: The Principles and Procedures of ISO21001

A seminar organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy of Tishk International University was held on September 16th, 2021. The course, which was presented by Dr. Ali, ISO Representative, aimed to explain the principles and processes of ISO, and highlighting the responsibilities of all staff members that are required to successfully achieve and obtain ISO certifications. Scientific Trip to Awamedica Pharmaceuticals

The Faculty of Pharmacy arranged a scientific trip for fifth-stage students to Awamedica Pharmaceuticals in Erbil. The students were divided into two groups and visited the company on the 5th and 6th of July, 2021. Awamedica staff warmly welcomed our students and presented a short presentation about the history, establishment, and growth of the company. The presentation also covered information regarding the products and dosage forms they produce. ACAP is a project that has been organized on the 01/02/2021 and successfully accomplished on 30/06/2021 by the Faculty of Pharmacy of Tishk International University, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturers Ms. Amani Tahsin and Dr. Rozhan Arif, and the participation of students from all grades. The project was conducted over 6 months, focusing on the hurdles that people with autism face every day. 1st National Tishk Pharmaceutical Conference (NTPC)

On June 26-27, 2021, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Tishk International University organized First National Tishk Pharmaceutical Conference. The conference lasted for two days each day consisted of 5 sessions and 6 sessions respectively. The Faculty of Pharmacy arranged a ceremony for freshman students with the purpose of celebrating the end of their first academic year in the Department, held on June 24th, 2021. The event was administered by the Dean of Students Representatives, Dr. Zeynel Polat, Dr. Rozhan Arif, and important class advisors. DOS Appreciation Ceremony for Pharmacy Faculty

An appreciation ceremony was organized on June 24, 2021 by the Dean Of Students of TIU for appreciation of the pharmacy staff for their valuable efforts and crucial role throughout the year in engaging with the Dean Of Students activities. During the ceremony, Mr. Ali Bala Dean of Students, expressed his gratitude to Head of department, Dean of Students representatives of pharmacy faculty and all class advisors for their continuously hard working throughout the academic year. Certificates were given to all participants, followed by cutting a cake in this occasion in a friendly and positive environment.
