On 21st February 2021, 3rd Year Pharmacy Students paid a visit to Hana Autism Centre as part of the Pharmacy Faculty’s community service project, organized and supervised by Ms. Amani Tahsin. The volunteers spent unforgettable moments with the strong little warriors of this center. The Dean of Students representatives of Pharmacy faculty organized a welcoming party for freshmen on the 20th of January 2021. All staff and 4th year student representatives were invited to this ceremony. The aim of this event it to ceremonially accept new students into the university and demonstrate to them that students can enjoy their time in TIU while studying. Also, the purpose is to familiarize new students with the university campus and encourage existing students to partake in extracurricular activities. An amazing and delicious breakfast was prepared by our 1st grade group B students and valuable doctors from pharmacy faculty as an extracurricular activity for welcoming our first-grade students. The activity was organized by pharmacy faculty dean of student’s representatives. At the beginning of the ceremony 1st grades class representatives gave a speech about some faculty regulations, and motivating students about their midterm exams wishing them all the best. Then the ceremony continued by having breakfast and ended by few musical activities.  

On December 20, 2020 Dean of student’s representatives, Pharmacy faculty at TIU hosted faculty Christian students celebrating Christ’s birth. The celebration was honored by Dr. Duran Kala dean of faculty, Dr. Esra Tariq head of department and students class advisors (Dr. Zeynel, Dr.Amani, Dr. Laza, Dr. Karez and Dr. Rozhan).
