The Dean of Students representatives of Pharmacy faculty organized a welcoming party for freshmen on the 20th of January 2021. All staff and 4th year student representatives were invited to this ceremony. The aim of this event it to ceremonially accept new students into the university and demonstrate to them that students can enjoy their time in TIU while studying. Also, the purpose is to familiarize new students with the university campus and encourage existing students to partake in extracurricular activities. Senior students prepared traditional food including Dolma and Bryani for this event, and many lecturers also participated in preparing special food and desserts. During the ceremony, first grade lecturers delivered a welcome speech to the students and expressed their readiness and pleasure to assist the newcomers in their academic and social issues. This event was a great chance for freshmen to meet and interact with their new classmates and senior students.
