An appreciation ceremony was organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Dean of Students Representative on May 27th, 2021. The event was attended by the Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdulsamad Ahmad, President of Tishk International University, Dr. Duran Kala, Dean of Pharmacy Faculty, and all the faculty staff. The purpose of the occasion was to appreciate the vital role of the academic and administrative staff of our University, who particularly during Covid-19 delivered their academic duties despite the risks and difficulties caused by the pandemic. The academic staff of Tishk International University-Pharmacy Faculty organized a Ramadan Iftar on May 1st, 2021. The feast was attended by Dr.Abdul Samad Salahuddin, TIU President, Dr.Duran Kala, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr.Esra Tariq, Head of Department, Dr.Zeynel Polat, Representative of the Dean of Students, Dr. Rozhan Arif, and a group of lecturers and teaching assistants. They all had Ramadan Iftar together in a great environment and enjoyed gathering away from the stress of work. .

The Faculty of Pharmacy organized a Table Tennis Tournament for Tishk International University Men and Women Pharmacy Staff. Almost 25 members of the staff participated in the contest, which began on 7th April 2021. Each member had one chance to be qualified for the next round. After several friendly matches between the participants, four staff members reached the finals (Dr. Zeynel Polat and Mr. Sayfaddin of the Men's Sports Activity, (Dr. Laja Senjawi and Dr. Rojan Arif of the Women's Sports Activity), which was held on 12th April 2021. The Presidency of Tishk International University coordinated a special Tree Planting Event for all administration and academic staff of the institution. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of Board of Trustees, Dr. Abdulsamad, President of University, and honored guests participated in this annual activity. The Pharmacy faculty also participated in this occasion by the presence of Dr. Duran Kala, Dean of Pharmacy, Dr. Esra Bayraktar, Head of Pharmacy Department, alongside many academic staff of the faculty. The Dean of Students of the Pharmacy Department arranged a trip for the Pharmacy Faculty Academic staff. The team, which included the President of the University, Dr. Abdul Samad, Dean of Pharmacy Faculty, Dr Duran Kula and academic staff of the Pharmacy Faculty, travelled on the 11th of March, 2021 to Shilgilbana, an amusement located in Rawanduz. They set out at 8:30 am to Chami Khalifan,, where they enjoyed an amazing breakfast with a beautiful view. Mercy Corner is an annual project that is conducted by the Deanery of Students of Tishk International University. This humanitarian mission is dedicated to refugees and internally displaced people (IDPs) who are currently residing in camps in the Kurdistan region.This project intended to raise awareness amongst students and to show our sentiments towards the people who have been shifted from their homes due to war and political or social instabilities.
