International Women’s day celebration in Faculty of Pharmacy

Dr. Zeynel Polat, Dean of students Representative and Male Staff of the Pharmacy Department of TIU, organized the International Women’s day celebration at the University with great enthusiasm on March 8th, 2021. Pharmacy Block Room No.301. Dr. Duran Kala, Dean of Pharmacy gave speech in the Pharmacy Block, Room 301, regarding women’s day and the significant roles women play in society. The ceremony included cutting cake and presenting gifts and flowers to female staff and students in celebration of this important day, and acknowledgement of their great achievements and power.

As a part of Pharmacy Faculty Community Service Project, on 21st of February 2021, 4th Grade students paid Hana Autism Center a visit under supervision of (Dr. Rojan Arif and Ms. Amani Tahsin). The aim of this visit was to perceive those tender- hearted battlers. At the outset, a team of volunteers whom are versed in awareness and sensible in charity, was set up. Later on, a tour was made inside the center to meet the autism children and got the opportunity to visit different classrooms. Mercy Corner Food Fundraising

The Faculty of Pharmacy participated in the food fundraising event, held on the 22nd of February 2021, from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. It was dedicated to financially support the Mercy Corner project organized by TIU. The Pharmacy stand was organized by Dr. Zeynel Polat, Dr Rozhan Arif and Mr. Tahir Swara. Pharmacy students of all stages contributed to the event by preparing an assortment of traditional food and desserts. A visit to Hana Autism Center

On 21st February 2021, 3rd Year Pharmacy Students paid a visit to Hana Autism Centre as part of the Pharmacy Faculty’s community service project, organized and supervised by Ms. Amani Tahsin. The volunteers spent unforgettable moments with the strong little warriors of this center. A trip for Pharmacy students to Hassan Bag Mountain.

The Dean of Student’s Representatives of the Pharmacy Department, Dr Zeynel Polat and Dr. Rozhan Arif, arranged a trip for 1st, 3rd, and 4th year students to Hassan Bag Mountain on the 13th of February 2021. The 80 students who participated in this outing, left University Campus at 8:30 am to head to the mountain. The students enjoyed a short stop in the snow which covered the mountain and adored the beautiful view from above, before continuing their trip. The Dean of Students representatives of Pharmacy faculty organized a welcoming party for freshmen on the 20th of January 2021. All staff and 4th year student representatives were invited to this ceremony. The aim of this event it to ceremonially accept new students into the university and demonstrate to them that students can enjoy their time in TIU while studying. Welcome Breakfast For Grade one students 2021

An amazing and delicious breakfast was prepared by our 1st grade group B students and valuable doctors from pharmacy faculty as an extracurricular activity for welcoming our first-grade students. The activity was organized by pharmacy faculty dean of student’s representatives. At the beginning of the ceremony 1st grades class representatives gave a speech about some faculty regulations, and motivating students about their midterm exams wishing them all the best. Then the ceremony continued by having breakfast and ended by few musical activities.
