The Faculty of Pharmacy arranged a scientific trip for fifth-stage students to Awamedica Pharmaceuticals in Erbil. The students were divided into two groups and visited the company on the 5th and 6th of July, 2021. Awamedica staff warmly welcomed our students and presented a short presentation about the history, establishment, and growth of the company. The presentation also covered information regarding the products and dosage forms they produce. The team further discussed their current contracts with other pharmaceutical companies and future plans for business development and expansion. An appreciation ceremony was organized on June 24, 2021 by the Dean Of Students of TIU for appreciation of the pharmacy staff for their valuable efforts and crucial role throughout the year in engaging with the Dean Of Students activities. During the ceremony, Mr. Ali Bala Dean of Students, expressed his gratitude to Head of department, Dean of Students representatives of pharmacy faculty and all class advisors for their continuously hard working throughout the academic year. Certificates were given to all participants, followed by cutting a cake in this occasion in a friendly and positive environment.

Prof. Dr. Abdulsamad Ahmad, President of Tishk International University, Dr. Duran Kala, Dean of Pharmacy Faculty, and all the faculty staff. The academic staff of Tishk International University-Pharmacy Faculty organized a Ramadan Iftar on May 1st, 2021. The feast was attended by Dr.Abdul Samad Salahuddin, TIU President, Dr.Duran Kala, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr.Esra Tariq, Head of Department, Dr.Zeynel Polat, Representative of the Dean of Students, Dr. Rozhan Arif, and a group of lecturers and teaching assistants. They all had Ramadan Iftar together in a great environment and enjoyed gathering away from the stress of work. .
