Faculty of Pharmacy Orientation Program for Freshmen students In collaboration with the Dean of Student’s Representatives, the Faculty of Pharmacy organized an orientation program for the newest members of the Pharmacy family, the freshman students. The program was held in three sessions over the course of two days (December 14th and 19th, 2021) in form of small groups due to COVID-19 regulations. Faculty of Pharmacy Participation in TIU Food Fundraising On December 14th, staff members and students of the Faculty of Pharmacy participated in the Mercy Corner food fundraising event held at Tishk International University, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The Dean of Students at Tishk International University annually organizes food fundraising projects in which students and staff participate by selling different varieties of food, desserts, drinks, etc. Volunteer students actively take part in preparing and selling homemade food, these events help the volunteers to understand the importance of community service responsibilities and projects. Music In the Valley (Autism Awareness Project) As part of the Autism Awareness Project organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University, a concert was held on 2nd December 2021  in the presence of the Director of Hana Autism Center. First Aid Techniques Seminar The Faculty of Pharmacy at TIU organized a seminar titled, “First Aid Techniques ”, for third-stage students, held on November 30th, 2021. TIU celebrates Worlds Pharmacists' Day The Faculty of Pharmacy of Tishk International University celebrated Worlds Pharmacist’s Day on November 7th, 2021. 5th-grade student's joyful trip On the 23rd of October, 2021, 5th-grade students and staff of the Faculty of Pharmacy attended a trip to Bexal Resorts and enjoyed an outdoor breakfast together. The trip was organized and supervised by Dr. Zeynel, the Representative of the Dean of Students, and Mr. Sayfaddin. The aim of this outing was to enjoy the great view of the natural waterfall running between the hard rocks. On November 7, 2019, the faculty of Pharmacy organized an orientation program for the newest members of the Pharmacy family, the freshman students. In the beginning of the program, the head of the department Dr. Esra Bayrakdar, delivered a speech to the students giving them general information about university life, the Pharmacy career, and the start of their academic journey. A seminar under the title “Professionalism as a main goal of critically thinking dentist” was held by Dr. Sherwan R. Sulaiman in the Tishk International University School of Dentistry on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. In the event, it was discussed how to think critically and how to be Professional dentist. There was a high interest in the seminar. The Senior staff of the university including Deans were ready in the seminar hall.
