The Faculty of Pharmacy organized a Table Tennis Tournament for Tishk International University Men and Women Pharmacy Staff. Almost 25 members of the staff participated in the contest, which began on 7th April 2021. Each member had one chance to be qualified for the next round. The Presidency of Tishk International University coordinated a special Tree Planting Event for all administration and academic staff of the institution. Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of Board of Trustees, Dr. Abdulsamad, President of University, and honored guests participated in this annual activity. The Pharmacy faculty also participated in this occasion by the presence of Dr. Duran Kala, Dean of Pharmacy, Dr. Esra Bayraktar, Head of Pharmacy Department, alongside many academic staff of the faculty. The Dean of Students of the Pharmacy Department arranged a trip for the Pharmacy Faculty Academic staff. The team, which included the President of the University, Dr. Abdul Samad, Dean of Pharmacy Faculty, Dr Duran Kula and academic staff of the Pharmacy Faculty, travelled on the 11th of March, 2021 to Shilgilbana, an amusement located in Rawanduz. Mercy Corner is an annual project that is conducted by the Deanery of Students of Tishk International University. This humanitarian mission is dedicated to refugees and internally displaced people (IDPs) who are currently residing in camps in the Kurdistan region.This project intended to raise awareness amongst students and to show our sentiments towards the people who have been shifted from their homes due to war and political or social instabilities. As a part of Pharmacy Faculty Community Service Project, on 21st of February 2021, 4th Grade students paid Hana Autism Center a visit under supervision of (Dr. Rojan Arif and Ms. Amani Tahsin). The aim of this visit was to perceive those tender- hearted battlers. At the outset, a team of volunteers whom are versed in awareness and sensible in charity, was set up. Later on, a tour was made inside the center to meet the autism children and got the opportunity to visit different classrooms.
