The Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University organized a training course entitled “Artificial Intelligence and Its Applications in the Pharmaceutical Arena.” The course aimed to introduce key AI concepts and their practical applications in pharmaceutical research and practice. The course was delivered by Dr. Hemin Ibrahim, Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence, and consisted of six sessions starting from 03/02/20226 – 11/06/2026. Throughout the program, participants were introduced to the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, its growing importance in education and healthcare, and its applications in daily academic and professional tasks. The training covered effective prompting techniques, AI tools for lesson planning, presentation preparation, and research support. Participants also explored the role of AI in pharmaceutical research, including the analysis of clinical documents and drug protocols, while discussing the importance of verifying AI-generated information and understanding its limitations. In addition, the course demonstrated how AI can be used to create educational content like clinical case scenarios related to patient counseling and drug interactions and their practical application in daily life, academia, health and pharmaceutical fields This initiative reflects the faculty’s commitment to embracing modern technologies in education and supports SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being).
