On December 5, 2024, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University organized an in-house AHPGS Accreditation ceremony for its Bachelor of Pharmacy program. The accreditation reflects the university’s commitment to providing high-quality education through rigorous academic standards, benefiting students and staff by ensuring a globally recognized program.
The event began with opening remarks by Dr. Muhammed Javed Naim, Head of the Pharmacy Department. Asst. Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi, Head of the Board of Trustees, delivered a welcome speech highlighting the university’s continuous progress, while President Asst. Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi praised the team’s efforts. Dr. Abdulsamad Salahuddin, Dean of the Pharmacy Faculty, expressed gratitude to the accreditation committee for their dedication over the five-year process and gave special recognition to Ms. Rasha for her guidance.
Keynote speakers included Ms. Rasha Alkabbanie, who presented the “Road Map of the Accreditation Process and Key Benefits,” and Dr. Esra Bayrakdar, Chair of the Accreditation committee, who highlighted the department’s strengths in achieving accreditation.
The ceremony concluded with certificate distribution and the cutting of a celebratory cake, symbolizing the shared pride and joy of this major milestone for the faculty and university.
