On February 12, 2026, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University conducted an educational visit to Shahan School to deliver a seminar introducing students to the field of pharmacy, contributing to the promotion of inclusive and equitable quality education and raising awareness about higher academic opportunities.

During the session, Dr. Helin Haider, Dr. Aya Diyar, and Dr. Sana Sirwan presented an overview of the pharmacy profession, highlighting its vital role in healthcare, drug development, patient counseling, and clinical practice. By encouraging students to consider careers in healthcare and emphasizing the pharmacist’s role in improving patient outcomes and community well-being, the seminar also supported the advancement of public health and access to safe and effective medicines. They further explained the academic journey of studying pharmacy, including laboratory training and future career opportunities in hospitals, community pharmacies, and the pharmaceutical industry.

The seminar was interactive, with students asking questions about university life and career prospects. This seminar was supported by Dr. Sardar, the Dean of Students’ Representative, as well as the Head of Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Javed, and the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdulsamad Salahuddin, reflecting the faculty’s continued commitment to community outreach, educational empowerment, and sustainable development.
