We are proud to announce that the Faculty of Pharmacy has won first place in the 1st Student Graduation Project Competition (SGPC), held on May 28–29, 2025. This competition provides a valuable platform for senior bachelor’s students to present their graduation projects and enhance their academic and professional skills. The winning project was a collaborative effort by three students—Yaqeen Imad, Wed Omar, and Omed Saadi—under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Aslam, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy. In 2022, there were an estimated 20 million new cases of cancer and 9.7 million deaths from cancer globally. This burden is projected to increase by about 77% by 2050, further straining health systems.
