On February 6, 2025, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University organized the 7th International Pharmacy Workshop (IPW) to mark World Cancer Day. The workshop’s theme was “Recent Progress in Diagnosis and Treatment of Cancer,” and it was held in collaboration with Takvin and Amr Lab. The International Pharmacy Workshop (7th IPW) – 2025 will focus on “Recent Progress in the Treatment of Cancer,” a disease that is a major contributor to global mortality. In 2022, there were an estimated 20 million new cases of cancer and 9.7 million deaths from cancer globally. This burden is projected to increase by about 77% by 2050, further straining health systems.
