On 19 January 2026, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University organized a scientific seminar aimed at enhancing research skills among students and academic staff supporting Quality Education and Lifelong Learning.
The seminar was presented by Dr. Ali Omar Yaseen, who holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Pharmacy and currently a PhD candidate in Pharmaceutical Care at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. He delivered a valuable talk entitled “Proposals as Precursors: Hierarchical Importance in the Research Lifecycle from Planning to Peer-Reviewed Dissemination.”
During the seminar, Dr. Ali highlighted the importance of research proposals as the foundation of successful scientific studies. He explained the key stages of the research process, starting from planning and proposal writing to publication in peer-reviewed journals. The session provided practical guidance and encouraged participants to approach research in a structured and effective way.
The seminar was interactive and informative, reflecting the Faculty of Pharmacy’s commitment to promoting research culture and academic development at Tishk International University. Dr. Mohammad Javed Naim, Head of Pharmacy Department, presented an appreciation certificate to Dr. Ali for his immense contribution to the field of research. The seminar was held with full support from Dr. Abdul Samad, Dean Faculty of pharmacy who always highlights and promotes such activities to upgrade the staff and students.
