On February 23, 2025, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University hosted the highly anticipated final round of the “Future Pharmacy Leader” (FPL) competition. The event brought together eight teams from stages three to five that had been competing since November 25, 2024. The final match was a thrilling contest between the “Stars” and the “Pharma B” teams.
The ceremony began with a Quran recitation by Grade 4 student Muhamed Rasu. Following this, Asst. Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi, Head of the Board of Trustees, welcomed attendees and praised the faculty’s commitment to students. Asst. Prof. Dr. Sultan Abu-Orabi, President of Tishk International University, also commended the Faculty of Pharmacy and encouraged students to strive for success. Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdulsamad Salahuddin, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, expressed his pride in the students who initiated the competition and thanked the staff for their organizational efforts.
The FPL final consisted of three rigorous rounds, culminating in a close and exciting finish. The “Stars” team emerged as the winner, showcasing outstanding teamwork, leadership, and knowledge. The event was made possible with the generous support of several sponsors, including Yas Pharmacy Chain, Paris Day, Maccannoli, Haval Bookstore, Dara Medical, and Farmona.
The competition served as a great success, promoting teamwork, leadership, and hands-on learning among pharmacy students. The Faculty of Pharmacy expressed gratitude to the Dean of Student Representatives, Dr. Rojan and Dr. Zeynel, for their excellent work in organizing the event. The faculty also thanked Dr. Abdul Samad, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Dr. Mohammad Javed Naim, Head of the Pharmacy Department, for their support, as well as Tishk International University for providing all the necessary facilities.
