On 7th December, 2025, the Faculty of Pharmacy organized an orientation program to welcome first-grade students and introduce them to university culture. The ceremony was opened by Dr. Saran Qasim, Research Assistant and host of the event. Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdulsamad Salahuddin, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, warmly welcomed the students and spoke about the vital role and importance of pharmacists in healthcare. Dr. Shajwan Salar, Assistant Lecturer, explained key university policies, including office hours, petition letters, medical reports, and other essential guidelines that students should follow throughout their studies. Dr. Omar Najmaddin, Technical Assistant, provided an overview of computer and IT-related procedures, as well as a brief explanation of the pharmacy curriculum to help students understand their academic pathway. Dr. Rozhan Arif, Assistant Lecturer, introduced the units of the Dean of Students, explained university student services, and highlighted the importance of setting clear academic and personal goals. To conclude the program, Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhammed Javed, Head of the Pharmacy Department, delivered a closing speech and welcomed all students to the new academic year. The orientation successfully prepared first-grade students for their university journey, offering them valuable information and guidance for the year ahead. This event was made possible with the support of Dr. Abdulsamad Salahuddin, Dean of Pharmacy Faculty and Dr. Mohammed Javed, Head of pharmacy department.
