Faculty of Pharmacy Welcome Event: Inspiring the Pharmacists of Tomorrow
In November 2024, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a welcome ceremony for students from the second to fifth grades. This event was led by Dr. Rozhan Arif and Dr. Zeynel Polat, the Dean of Students Representatives Coordinator, with support from the members of Dean of Student of Pharmacy Faculty and the class advisors. The ceremony aimed to welcome returning students and orient them for the new academic year.
The event began with opening remarks from Dr. Rozhan Arif and Dr. Zeynel Polat, who emphasized the faculty’s commitment to supporting students in both their academic and personal development. Following the introductions, each class advisor was presented to their respective classes, providing students with a chance to meet their advisors in person. Advisors outlined their roles and offered guidance on how they could assist students with academic or personal challenges throughout the year.
