On October 16th, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a heartfelt event in celebration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). The event was coordinated by Representatives of the Dean of Students at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Zeynel Polat and Dr. Rozhan Arif, alongside DOS members (Dr. Sana Aza, Dr. Abeer Zuheyr, and Dr. Hedi Othman) and group of volunteer students. The event emphasized the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), which promote peace, compassion, and understanding, thereby contributing to a more peaceful and just society.
The program began with a beautiful Quran recitation by Muhamed Rasul, a 4th-year student. Dr. Abdulsamad Salahuddin, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, delivered a warm and welcoming speech, setting the tone for the day’s reflections. A captivating video on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) through his hadiths was shared with the audience. This was followed by a thought-provoking seminar presented by Mr. Osama Mustafa, who explored the themes of dhikr (remembrance of Allah), the significance of Quranic verses, and the profound role of contemplation in strengthening one’s faith.
Another video about the life of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) was shown, followed by a competition that encouraged audience participation and increase knowledge about prophets life. To conclude the event, gifts, sweets, and a variety of delicious foods were prepared outside the hall, creating a joyful and communal atmosphere for everyone.
