Faculty of Pharmacy Organizes Scientific Trip
The Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University (TIU) conducted a scientific trip for pharmacy students, led by the scientific committee members and Dean of Students representatives, on October 31st, 2024. The trip aimed to enhance students’ practical knowledge of medicinal plants, build knowledge in natural healthcare, and promote sustainable use of plant resources. The trip began with a breakfast at Pablo Park, Duhok, followed by a study session in Zaweta, where students collected data on local medicinal plants for a detailed report. The trip concluded with a reflective lunch at Malta Restaurant, providing students with practical field experience in pharmacognosy and medicinal plant applications.
