On November 18, 2024, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University, in collaboration with the Takvin Organization, organized an event titled “Exploring Opportunities with Industry Experts: Guest Lecture and International Student Exchange Program Briefing.” The event aimed to educate students about the benefits of international exchange programs, highlighting how these opportunities can enhance their academic, personal, and professional growth.
The event featured three distinguished speakers:
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Salah Hassan, Head of the Takvin Organization, spoke on “The Value of International Programs.”
- Dr. Amina Haji, a medical doctor, shared her valuable insights from the Study of the U.S. Institutes (SUSI) program in a presentation titled “Insights from the SUSI Program.”
- Dr. Ahmed Hamdi, a lecturer at TIU, provided a detailed overview of the various exchange programs available to students.
This informative event inspired students to explore international exchange opportunities and equipped them with the knowledge and confidence to pursue these valuable experiences. The Faculty of Pharmacy is thankful for the support from Dean Dr. Abdul Samad and the Head of the Pharmacy department, Dr. Mohammad Javed Naim, in successfully organizing the event.
