On February 17, 2026, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University conducted a pharmacy-related session to students during an educational visit to Aga School.
Because Aga School is Dr. Shiva’s alma mater, the visit was very noteworthy. The delegation was warmly welcomed by the school administration and students, setting the tone for an outstanding celebration.
Dr. Shiva Sirwan, Dr. Saran Qasim, and Dr. Helin Haider briefed the students on the pharmacy profession, its significance in healthcare, and the numerous opportunities for employment in healthcare facilities, community pharmacies, and the pharmaceutical industry. They also highlighted the stages required in becoming a chemist and encouraged students to pursue their aspirations in the medical and health-related fields. The team of educators praised the host institution for their hospitality and pledged to collaborate more closely with local schools to better prepare their students for success in college and beyond. Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Javed Naim, Head of the Department, and Associate Professor Abdulsamad Salahuddin, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, both gave their support to the event.
