On 11 December, the university proudly hosted a memorable Alumni Reunion, bringing together graduates from three different batches in a warm and engaging atmosphere. The event aimed to strengthen the bond between alumni and the university while highlighting continued support for graduates’ professional growth and development.
The program was opened and hosted by Dr. Hedi, who warmly welcomed the attendees and emphasized the importance of maintaining strong and lasting alumni connections. This was followed by a welcome speech from Asst. Prof. Dr. Abul Samad Salahuddin, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, who expressed appreciation for the alumni’s ongoing relationship with the university.
Mr. Shkar Latif, Coordinator of the Alumni Center, then delivered an informative presentation outlining the university’s vision, recent achievements, and future plans. The session continued with Mr. Herish Omar, Director of the Career Center, who spoke in detail about the role of the University Alumni Center in supporting graduates’ career paths. He also introduced the Alumni Application—an innovative platform designed to collect graduates’ information and connect them with potential employers, thereby enhancing career networking and job placement opportunities.
The formal program concluded on a lively and interactive note with an enjoyable Kahoot quiz, creating a fun and engaging experience for all participants. Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Javed Naim, Head of the Pharmacy Department, officially closed the ceremony.
The reunion concluded with a coffee break, allowing alumni to reconnect, share memories, and network in a relaxed and friendly setting. The faculty extends its sincere appreciation to all speakers and alumni whose participation made the reunion a meaningful and successful event. This event was made possible with the support of dean of pharmacy faculty, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdulsamad Salahuddin, and Head of pharmacy department, Asst.
