On February 23, 2025, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University held a White Coat Ceremony to officially welcome first-year students into the pharmacy profession.

The event began with a welcome speech by Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, Vice President for Academic Affairs at TIU, who congratulated the students on this important milestone. Dr. Muhammed Abdulghani, Dean of Students, spoke about the responsibilities that come with wearing the white coat. At the same time, Dr. Abdulsamad Salahuddin, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, emphasized its symbolic meaning as a representation of professionalism and dedication to patient care. Dr. Mohammad Javed Naim, Head of the Pharmacy Department, led the oath ceremony, reinforcing the ethical values and responsibilities of the profession.

The ceremony concluded with a cake cutting and group photos, marking the students’ commitment to their journey in pharmacy. The event was made possible with the support of Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdul Samad, Dean of the Pharmacy Faculty, and Dr. Mohammad Javed Naim, Head of the Pharmacy Department, along with Tishk International University.
