On December 18, 2024, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University conducted a visit to Awamedica Company, a prominent pharmaceutical company. The visit, which included faculty members and pharmacy students, aimed to connect academic learning with real industry applications.

The visit began with a presentation by Awamedica personnel who shared the company’s accomplishments and contributions to the pharmaceutical sector. This was followed by a tour of the production facilities, where students observed various equipment and machinery. They learned about the sequential processes of production, including mixing, tablet fabrication, coating, and packing. The personnel emphasized the significance of quality control and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Students had the opportunity to ask questions, gaining pragmatic insights into the pharmaceutical sector and the real-world application of their studies. The trip was facilitated by Dr. Abdulsamad Salahuddin, Dean of the Pharmacy Faculty, and Dr. Mohammad Javed Naim, Head of the Pharmacy Department, and guided by Dr. Awni Kamal.
