The Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University (TIU) proudly highlights the successful completion of a four-week student exchange program by its fresh graduate, Sawa Abdulsamad, at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmaceutical Industry at Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST), Egypt, from 1 August to 1 September 2026.
During the program, Sawa participated in academic lectures on pharmacology, nanotechnology, entrepreneurship, microbiology, research design, and medicinal chemistry. The program also included practical training at Souad Kafafi University Hospital, where she gained experience in inpatient, outpatient, and oncology pharmacies.
The final week focused on pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging through hands-on training at a commercial pharmaceutical factory. The program concluded with a research project presentation and the awarding of completion certificates.
The exchange also provided an opportunity to explore Egyptian culture and visit landmarks including the Giza Pyramids, Citadel of Saladin, and Alexandria.
Through this experience, the Faculty of Pharmacy continues to support quality education, lifelong learning, innovation, and international academic cooperation, while preparing its graduates for diverse professional opportunities.
