A Profound Impact
The visit had a profound impact on both the children and our Pharmacy students. For the children, the gifts, treats, and activities brought much-needed comfort and a joyful break from their daily routine. For our students, the experience served as an invaluable lesson in empathy, generosity, and the true meaning of community service.
Throughout the day, TIU students demonstrated incredible kindness, creativity, and teamwork. They actively engaged the children in a diverse array of activities, including games, arts and crafts, storytelling, and group play. The interactions were filled with delightful moments of genuine connection, shared stories, and laughter.
This project fostered a true culture of compassion and generosity within our university, proving how small actions can make a meaningful contribution to the fight against inequality and social hardship.
