On 24/02/2026, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University organized an Industrial Advisory Committee Meeting to strengthen collaboration between academia and the pharmaceutical industry.

The meeting covered key agenda items, including curriculum alignment with industry needs, identification of skill gaps, emerging industry trends, internship and training opportunities, research partnerships, graduate employability, professional certifications, entrepreneurship initiatives, accreditation standards, and regulatory updates.

These included introducing Drug Regulatory Affairs as a new elective course, strengthening soft skills training for students, and establishing a student internship and training collaboration with ESB Group. The committee also initiated steps toward launching a Certification Program in Regulatory Affairs and agreed to pursue accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE). Several recommendations were proposed to enhance program quality and better prepare graduates for the workforce.
