On January 27, 2026, the Faculty of Pharmacy organized a snow picnic at Korek Mountain for pharmacy students in grades 2-5. Gali Ali Bag was the first stop on the expedition, when the students had lunch and captured photographs that would last a lifetime. The group then travelled to Korek Mountain, which was covered in a gorgeous layer of snow, providing all of the students and staff members with a joyful and exhilarating experience. The pupils enjoyed the snowy setting and enthusiastically engaged in the activities. Before returning to Erbil, the group had a brief stop at the Pirmam Tunnel and had a wonderful dinner. Overall, the snow picnic was a beneficial and enjoyable exercise that provided students with a welcome break from the monotony of their academic lives while also improving their capacity to interact with one another and participate outside of the classroom.
