On 6th December 2018, a workshop was organized with a team from Al-QIFFAF company. The aim of the workshop was to present the new generation of equipment, their uses, and specifications. Staff from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Science attained the workshop.
Office of the Dean of Student Affairs at Tishk International University is established with the purpose of supporting the students’ socio-cultural and sports activities. The Office strives to find solutions for their academic problems and to contribute to the students’ self-improvement by coordinating relevant academic and administrative units in order to attain these goals. An orientation program was organized by the Pharmacy department aimed to welcome first-grade students, in which the head of the pharmacy department gave a speech aimed to encourage the newly joined students to study and work hard to be a clever pharmacist.

The history of the symbol of pharmacy is diverse and is one which shares its beginning in many ancient cultures throughout the world and snakes or serpents have been a common occurrence in mythology throughout history. Distillation is a process of separating the component or substances from a liquid mixture by evaporating and condensation or to purify an impure liquid. To separate a mixture of liquids, the liquid can be heated to force components, which have different boiling points. On the 7th of October, a lunch was prepared by the pharmacy and medical analysis department aimed to welcome the new staffs who joined Tishk International university this year.
On 25th June 2018, an opening ceremony was organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy. The ceremony has started by cutting the ribbon by Dr.Idrees Hadi (Head of the board of trustees), Dr.Yousif Goran (Minister of Higher Education), Dr. Saleem Saeed Zangana ( Head of Kurdistan Board), other governmental & political representatives and some general consulates honorable ministers participated in the ceremony. During the ceremony, Dr.Idrees Hadi gave a speech and promised to work hard to develop pharmacy faculty in order to become a pioneer in the field of pharmacy.
