Strategic Faculty Meeting On September 8th, 2022, in the presence of Dr Fatih Cura, Vice President of Tishk International University, and Dr Duran Kala, Dean of Faculty of Dentistry at TIU, a meeting was conducted with the academic staff and heads of departments of both Dentistry and Pharmacy faculties. A seminar under the title “Professionalism as a main goal of critically thinking dentist” was held by Dr. Sherwan R. Sulaiman in the Tishk International University School of Dentistry on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. In the event, it was discussed how to think critically and how to be Professional dentist. There was a high interest in the seminar. The Senior staff of the university including Deans were ready in the seminar hall.

300 kindergarten children had oral examination by a group of 13 dental students under supervision of pedodontic head department (Dr.bushra rashid )& Dr. Lava sabir .the aim was for early detection of dental  caries  and other defects in their oral cavity . At the same time dental students could practice examination and diagnosis of oral findings ,kids had fun with gifts and educationable painting pictures.

Ishık University Faculty of Dentistry Pedodontic department’s staff  with 20 dental students visited Erbil Ola primary school which is located in Saidawa in Erbil. The visit was performed in cooperation with Kurdistan Save Children Organization who provided the project with materials and gains the government’s agreements for visiting schools.   Visit impact: 1.
