International Women’s Day Celebration for Staff
On the 8th of March 2022, Dr. Zeynel Polat Dean of Student’s Representative of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mr. Tahir Swar, and Mr. Seyfeddin arranged an event to celebrate and honor International Women’s Day.
International Women’s Day is a global day devoted to celebrating and empowering women. It’s observed in different ways around the world, generally aiming at promoting women’s rights, raising awareness of issues that affect women, and celebrating women’s achievements.
To commemorate International Women’s Day, female staff members of the Faculty of Pharmacy were gifted flowers in appreciation of their efforts and to celebrate their significant achievements. The Dean of Students Representatives Dr. Rojan Arif and Dr. Zeynel Polat delivered speeches on the role of women and their importance within society. The staff members were overjoyed with their gifts and their spirits were lifted, feeling supported, valued, and encouraged by this heartful gesture.
The Dean of Students is wishing a happy International Women’s Day for all-female staff, and a life full of success and great accomplishments.
