On June 25, 2025, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University organized a heartfelt farewell ceremony for the graduating Grade 5 students. The event celebrated their accomplishments and marked the beginning of their professional journeys.
The celebration began with an emotional speech by Mr. Hedi Othman, a research assistant, who congratulated the students on their five years of hard work. Following this, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdulsamad Salahuddin, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, delivered a motivational address, stressing the importance of endurance and continued professional development. Mr. Frsat Abdulla, Director of the Department of State Alumni Centre, spoke about the resources and opportunities available to alumni, encouraging them to stay involved with the university and contribute to the community.
On behalf of the students, Mr. Ahmad Azad, the General Student Representative for Pharmacy, expressed gratitude to the lecturers and university management for their guidance and mentorship. A video presentation was then shown, highlighting the memorable moments from the graduates’ academic years.
The ceremony was concluded by Dr. Rozhan Arif, a representative from the Dean of Students (DOS), who offered words of encouragement, applauding the graduates’ accomplishments and inspiring them to make a positive impact in the world. The celebration ended with a cake-cutting ceremony, laughter, and group photos, marking a joyful transition to the next chapter of their lives.
The department also extended its thanks to Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Javed Naim for coordinating the event.
