Drug Misuse and Overuse Project Appreciation Ceremony
An appreciation ceremony was organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Dean of Students Representatives on February 28th, 2022. The ceremony was attended by the Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Duran Kala, faculty staff members, and our beloved 3rd-graderd grade students. The purpose of the event was to honor the major contributions of both staff and students and value their great participation. It also aimed to shed light on how students played an important role in the Drug Misuse and Overuse Community Service Project.
The ceremony commenced with a short speech delivered by the Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy Dr. Duran Kala, in which he welcomed all attending staff and students, and thanked them for their consistent hard work and effort. The Dean expressed his appreciation for the valuable contributions made and shared his contentment with the energy, enthusiasm, and perseverance displayed by the students during this project. He also highlighted his pleasure with all students volunteers who have participated in Drug Misuse and Overuse Project and explained how such actions make a change in society and set a significant model for others to follow.
Appreciation certifications were given to organizer staff members and students for their cooperation. The Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University is proud of all its students and staff who organized and volunteered in the Drug Misuse and Overuse Project and hopes to see continuous contributions in community service activities.
