Celebrating the End of an Academic Journey: 5th Grade Pharmacy Students’ Farewell Ceremony
The end of the academic year is a momentous occasion, and the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University (TIU) had the pleasure of commemorating the 5th grade faculty students as they achieved this significant milestone on June 13th, 2024. The ceremony, which was organised by the Dean of Students, was a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students over the past five years.
The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Head of the Pharmacy Department, and Dean of Students, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdulsamad Salahuddin, delivered an inspiring speech. Dr. Salahuddin conveyed his sincere congratulations to the students in his address, recognising their exceptional academic accomplishments and dedication throughout their academic journey. He also emphasised the diverse activities and projects that the students had completed, which not only improved their education but also facilitated their professional development.
The ceremony concluded with a contemplation of the students’ shared journey, which highlighted their achievements and the significant milestones they had reached. Each experience has been instrumental in the development of the competent and compassionate chemists they are today, from rigorous coursework and practical training to community service and research projects. The Dean of Students coordinator delivered the final speech, which served as a final infusion of motivation and encouragement to the event.
The celebration continued with a delightful lunch and desserts following the speeches, providing students with an opportunity to relax, reflect, and enjoy the company of their peers and faculty members. It was a festive event, characterised by friendship and joy, that signified the conclusion of one chapter and the commencement of another. The power of partnership in cultivating a supportive and enriching educational environment was exemplified by this event.
