Seminar On Bringing New Pharmaceutical Items to Market and Quality Control Process
The Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University arranged a seminar on November 6th, 2022. The seminar consisted of two sessions titled: Bringing New Pharmaceutical Items to Market and Quality Control Process, aiming to familiarize students with the marketing aspects in the pharmacy field and to enhance their understanding of the process involved in quality control in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
Dr. Shaswar Mohammed presented the first session of the seminar, explaining the role of a pharmacist in the making of pharmaceutical products. This included the process of applying to companies involved in the marketing process of drugs and pharmaceutical products. He further explained the important point required for CV application and what is expected of them if they decided to work in such a field.
The second part was presented by a student in the fifth stage of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Brwa Farhad, who has excellent working experience importing pharmaceutical products into KRI. He elaborated on the procedures required to bring the products into Kurdistan and which processes are involved.
The seminar ended with certificates given to each of the presenters by the Head of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Esra Bayrakdar.
