On 27th February 2020, the faculty of Pharmacy, under the supervision of the dean and head of department, hosted a seminar for its 3rd-year students presented by the pharmacist Dr. Marwan Qasim under the title of “ Pharmacist-Patient communication skills” in which the students were familiarized with the basic methods of communication with their patients in the pharmacy and highlighted the issues that may face the students giving them hints on how to overcome them.

The Faculty of Pharmacy, Tishk International University organised an international Pharminar (Pharmacy Webinar) on 29th Sep, in continuation of celebration of world Pharmacy Week 2020. On July 16,2020 ,The dean of students of TIU organized a gathering in appreciation of the pharmacy staff for their valuable efforts throughout the year in engaging with the DOS activities During the activity, certificates were given to the pharmacy staff by mr.Ali Bala, head of DOS, followed by delicious meal in a friendly environment  

On June 23, 2020 a workshop was done by the coordinator of ISO and Accreditation Mrs.Rasha Al-Kabbanie for the staff of Pharmacy Faculty, the workshop was delivered in two sessions, one of them being on campus and the other delivered as an online session The workshop discussed the steps involved in the accreditation process of the pharmacy department and the academic staff were guided to do the steps required to go on with the accreditation process.
