A Visit to Erbil International Book Fair With 3rd Grade Pharmacy Students
On March 13th, 2023, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University organized a visit to the Erbil International Book Fair for stage three students. The visit was organized by Dr. Mohammed Sultan and Dr. Omar Najmadin, with the assistance of Dr. Zeytun Hameed and Dr. Parua Walzi. This provided an excellent opportunity for students to explore new books and gain knowledge on different topics.
The Erbil International Book Fair is a yearly event that draws in publishers, authors, and book enthusiasts from all around the world. It is a hub of intellectual exchange and discovery, where people of all ages can discover new books, exchange ideas, and engage in discussions on a variety of topics. For our young students, it was an opportunity to explore new worlds and gain a deeper understanding of different ideas and perspectives. The students were engaged and curious, exploring the different science, history, art, and literature books.
After the visit, the Research Assistants and the group of students had lunch at Sami Abdulrahman Park, where they shared their favourite parts of the event and were involved in a brief self-development talk by Dr. Mohammed Sultan. The event was a success, and the student’s love for learning was fostered. The Faculty of Pharmacy remains committed to providing students opportunities to explore new visions and gain a deeper understanding of different ideas and perspectives.
A second visit was also done by the 3rd Grade Students Group B on 15th of March supervised by Dr. Saya Ameer and Dr. Zeytun Hameed, where they also visited the book fair at Sami Abdulrahman Park and enjoyed a lunch gathering at the park later on.
