On March 27, 2025, during Ramadan, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University (TIU) hosted a warm and meaningful iftar gathering for staff members.
Following the iftar meal, everyone joined in a group prayer. This special moment brought the group closer, giving them a chance to reflect on the meaning of Ramadan and to be thankful for their blessings.
The evening continued with activities that helped strengthen their religious knowledge and sense of togetherness. A highlight was an oral quiz about Islam and Ramadan, where participants showcased what they knew and learned new things. Prizes and gifts were given to those who took part as a way of showing appreciation and encouraging engagement.
This iftar gathering was made possible by the support of Dr. Abdul Samad, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Dr. Mohammed Javed Naim, Head of the Pharmacy Department.
