On March 10, 2025, the Dean of Students Sports Unit at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Tishk International University, organized the Pharmacy Table Tennis Tournament. The event was coordinated by Dr. Aram Mohammed, with support from Dr. Zeynel Polat and Dr. Hedi Othman.
The tournament concluded with an intense final match, where Aland Hamza, a Grade 3 student, secured the championship title by defeating Raman Sherzad in a thrilling contest. Aland Hamza displayed remarkable skill and dominance, winning three consecutive rounds in the five-round match. Each round was played to 11 points, with Aland Hamza’s precision and strategy proving too strong for his opponent.
The tournament brought together some of the best table tennis players from the pharmacy community, fostering a spirit of sportsmanship and competition. Both finalists were praised for their outstanding performances, making the event a memorable success.
