International Women’s Day Celebration for Students
On the 8th of March 2022, Dr. Zeynel Polat Dean of Student’s Representative of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mr. Tahir Swar, and Mr. Seyfeddin arranged an event to celebrate and honor International Women’s Day.
International Women’s Day is a global day devoted to celebrating and empowering women. It’s observed in different ways around the world, generally aiming at promoting women’s rights, raising awareness of issues that affect women, and celebrating women’s achievements.
The event was hosted by Dr. Asya Omed and was opened by a wonderful speech delivered by the Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy Duran Kala. The Head of Faculty Dr.Esra Bayraktar followed by reading out a beautiful and touching poem written by Prof. Dr. Shukrya Rasul. At this event, a heart-warming presentation was held to remind everyone about the importance of women in society. Women are mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, teachers, colleagues, and friends. They make the backbones of society and are forever deserving of all love and respect.
This event was dedicated to celebrating the female students of the Faculty of Pharmacy. All students were gifted flowers in respect of their effort, consistency, and great achievements.
