The Faculty of Pharmacy participated in the food fundraising event, held on the 22nd of February 2021, from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. It was dedicated to financially support the Mercy Corner project organized by TIU. The Pharmacy stand was organized by Dr. Zeynel Polat, Dr Rozhan Arif and Mr. Tahir Swara. Pharmacy students of all stages contributed to the event by preparing an assortment of traditional food and desserts. Some students also volunteered in selling the food, and collecting the funds, which were gathered to help the refugees by arranging food packages as well as other primary needs. The event provided an opportunity to students to help the community and raise awareness of the people who have been misplaced due to war or financial difficulties. Thankfully, the event was successful due to the hard work invested by Pharmacy staff and students alongside many TIU participants.
