On December 20, 2020 Dean of student’s representatives, Pharmacy faculty at TIU hosted faculty Christian students celebrating Christ’s birth. The celebration was honored by Dr. Duran Kala dean of faculty, Dr. Esra Tariq head of department and students class advisors (Dr. Zeynel, Dr.Amani, Dr. Laza, Dr. Karez and Dr. Rozhan). Orientation Programs: On November 10 an 11, 2020, the faculty of Pharmacy organized an orientation program for the second and fourth grade students. Due to pandemic situation the program was held in five sessions. In the beginning of each program the students were introduced with their faculty dean of students’ representatives, academic class advisors and class advisors. Then, a presentation was presented to each group regarding the dean of students departments and activities. On 2nd of November Pharmacy faculty staff and a group of 4th grade students arranged an activity on the occasion of prophet Muhammad’s birthday (PBUH) to celebrate this holly day. To prevent any social gathering due to the pandemic situation the activities were limited. For this Holly occasion a special corner was arranged in pharmacy faculty under supervision of Miss Amani Tahsin and Dr. Rozhan Arif. The corner was decorated with nice flowers, candles, sweets and cards with holly Hadith was distributed for the staffs and students.
On December 7, 2020, the faculty of Pharmacy with the dean of student’s representatives organized an orientation program for the newest members of the Pharmacy family, the freshman students in form of small groups due to the pandemic situation. On December 10, 2020 Dean of students of Tishk International University/Faculty of Pharmacy organized a hiking trip to Safin mountain. The trip was accompanied by Mr. Omer Abdulrazaq as a guider and Mr. Shaaban from nurse department as first aid staff.
