4th International Pharmacy Workshop ON “ Gene Editing as a new Therapeutic Approach for Incurable Diseases”.

Date: December 11th, 2022

Venue: 302, Faculty of Pharmacy

Tishk International University , Erbil, Iraq

 Aim of The Workshop:

Despite advances in modern medicine, there are about 2500 diagnosed incurable diseases . Additionally, some of these illnesses are life-limiting conditions that could cause a person of any age to pass away in a matter of days, weeks, months, or even longer. While some of them, like diabetes and many different forms of allergies, can be lifelong and necessitate continuous care and monitoring and treatments. However, during the past two decades, scientists have made enormous strides in the diagnosis and treatment of all these diseases by understanding more about the role of genes in a variety of illnesses, including incurable disorders.

By inviting numerous national and international scientists to this workshop, which will be held for the first time in the Kurdistan Region, we aim to introduce role of genomic engineering in incurable diseases to our researchers, lecturers, and students by presenting their work through presenting presentation  and poster related to the topics.
