Faculty of Pharmacy Participation in TIU Food Fundraising

On December 14th, staff members and students of the Faculty of Pharmacy participated in the Mercy Corner food fundraising event held at Tishk International University, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

The Dean of Students at Tishk International University annually organizes food fundraising projects in which students and staff participate by selling different varieties of food, desserts, drinks, etc. Volunteer students actively take part in preparing and selling homemade food, these events help the volunteers to understand the importance of community service responsibilities and projects.

The Faculty of Pharmacy stand was supervised by the Dean of Students Representatives, class advisors and our students participated by preparing a variety of traditional food and desserts, and some volunteered in selling the food as well.

The collected fund was used to support refugees by preparing food packages and other basic needs. The event was successfully completed, and a significant amount of funds were raised.
