Faculty of Pharmacy Device Training Courses
The Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University is proud to announce the accomplishment of the following trainings conducted during the 2021-2022 academic year. On behalf of the faculty, we would like to thank all lecturers who participated in providing the training courses and staff members who contributed to the training success. Total attendees were 22 from academic and assistants of faculty and each training for each device is done on different days.
The training will consist of slides, laboratories sessions, and demonstrations which emphasize basic principles of FT-IR instrumentation, data processing, sampling techniques, the IR PC software, and introductory instrument maintenance and troubleshooting. The purpose of the Rota-evaporator is to remove low boiling organic chemicals, usually solvents, from a mixture of compounds. The Rota-evaporator is the method of choice because it is environment friendly (green technology). The solvent collected in Rota-evaporator can be recycled. Thermolabile phytochemicals can be distilled because it operates at low temperature. It is fast and economical distillation method compared to conventional distillation methods.
