1st Pharmacy Student Conference – PSC Appreciation Ceremony
The Faculty of Pharmacy at Tishk International University held an appreciation ceremony for the success of the faculty’s first conference organised by our talented students on June 19th, 2022. The ceremony was held to award staff and organising teams for their contributions to the PSC conference. The ceremony was honoured by the presence of the Vice President at TIU Prof. Dr Mehmet Ozdemir, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy Dr Duran Kala, the Head of Dean of Student Office Dr Muhammed Abdulghane, the Head of Faculty of Pharmacy Dr Esra Tariq, the Coordinator of the Pharmacy Department Dr Rozhan Arif, and faculty staff members.
The Faculty of Pharmacy is proud of all its students and staff who organised and volunteered to organise this great conference and hopes to see continuous contributions in future.
The opening speech was delivered by Ramina Butrus, a student at the Faculty of Pharmacy, followed by a music session performed by Muhammad Ammer, another student at the faculty. He delighted the ceremony participants with his talents in several musical instruments, particularly the Saz. Dr Duran Kala, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, delivered a motivational speech during the ceremony.
On this memorable day, 120 students and 38 staff were awarded plaques and appreciation certificates for their outstanding performances in organising the conference.
